Watson Gardens

Refurbishment of an existing estate space bordering Harrow Road, delivered as the first project of the Harrow Road Place Plan. The project involves opening the space to the wider community through new entrances onto Harrow Road, sports spaces including ballcourt and two fitness spaces. A large central deck incorporating a long linear bench and spectator seating, has be constructed on a mini-piled structured to protect existing tree roots. The planting palette includes plants know to help reduce air pollution. The project was developed through community and stakeholder engagement and delivered as part of the Walterton and Elgin Community Homes estate regeneration.
